Are all of your sessions 1-on-1?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All of your sessions will be 1-on-1 with Dr. Leo or Dr. Carly, as they believe true quality care can only emerge in this environment. This allows us to spend more time with you, to give you EXACTLY what you need and take the guessing out of making progress.

How long are the sessions?

Accepted Answer

The initial evaluation is a 2 hour, head-to-toe assessment. Follow up sessions are 1 hour long.

Do you take insurance?

Accepted Answer

While we do not directly take insurance, as we are an out of network provider, we will gladly provide a super bill which you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

Do you offer Dry Needling?

Yes, Dr. Leo and Dr. Carly are fully certified and up to date on the latest advanced Dry Needling techniques.

Do you teach weightlifting mechanics?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Dr. Leo has spent hours in the gym and has over 15 years of experience with weightlifting as well as taking various courses and certifications on proper weightlifting technique. Dr. Leo is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

What if I am not an "active individual”?

Accepted Answer

You don’t have to be a gym rat or have an extensive athletic background to be a good fit to work with us. Dr. Leo and Dr. Carly's ideal client is anyone who is open minded, truly wants to get better and is ready to put the work in. If that sounds like you, let’s go! If you know you are not going to do the work, you are probably not a good fit to work with us.

What if Physical Therapy failed me before?

Dr. Leo and Dr. Carly have seen many clients who were failed by traditional physical therapy. Traditional physical therapy tends to focus on the area of pain, whereas Dr. Leo and Dr. Carly determine the ROOT cause as to why you have pain in the first place and treats that. This is why the traditional approach has failed many people.

Do you only help people who are in pain or injured?

No, Dr. Leo and Dr. Carly truly believe movement is medicine and they enjoy working with people throughout all stages of their healing journey. This means you don’t have to have an active injury or be in pain to benefit from our approach.

Dr. Leo and Dr. Carly's greatest joy is getting/keeping people out of pain, optimizing their foundation, and watching them excel to new levels of health and performance that they didn’t believe were possible.

Yes. Physical therapy is an effective, non-surgical treatment for many musculoskeletal conditions affecting the shoulder, wrist, elbow, ankle, hip, neck, knee, and back. At Wellness Arena Performance Therapy, our physical therapists perform a comprehensive evaluation to identify the root cause of your pain and develop a personalized treatment plan.

Using evidence-based techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, mobility training, and injury prevention strategies, we help reduce pain, restore function, improve strength and flexibility, and get you back to your daily activities, work, or sports safely. Sports physical therapy is also available for athletes and active individuals recovering from injuries or looking to enhance performance.
